Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. ~From a headstone in Ireland

Uncle Jimmy, here's to you. You'll be missed.
I just found out today my Dad's brother passed away.Who knows what's going to happen now, but my thoughts and prayers are with my family, and hopefully soon I will be too.

Anyway.I'm sorry this post took so long to happen. There has been a TON going on. This is probably not going to be as bright and shiny of a post as I had intended, but I already uploaded the pics, so,here goes. I shan't deprive our few readers the chance to finally glimpse my spring/summer 2010 pieces:)

This is The Callie.(named for poor Callie, who would've modeled it but fell sick that day. Next time dear!)It's a short sleeve Henley Dress. This blue one here is soon to be available in my Ready-to-ship store, size extra small.(will fit UP TO measurements 36/30/36. Will be snug as shown on model.)

Not your size or color? You can get one custom made to your measurements in my Customs Shop!Any color you want, and your choice of eco-friendly or regular fabric!!!Gasp!

You want me to stand how?

Poor Hayley..it was soooooo cold out.I edited some of the other pics and 'warmed them up',but here you can almost see how cold it is.

Maybe this was inappropriate graffiti for a children's playground. But then again, Stoner Park doesn't sound so kid friendly anyways.

ahem...anywho...more fashion..

"Please don't make me take off the sweater!"

Hayley(the model) and Shawn (her Husband) finally got to try out their new photography studio!didn't these turn out great?!

Please go check them out! www.sharperphotography.blogspot.com
Also, take a peek at Hay's Etsy shop!

Stay tuned kiddos, I'll be showing off the rest of the looks all week, one look per post:)

SNOW!!!!!

I know this looks like a tiny amount of snow, but in Huntsville, Alabama, this amount of snow is enough to shut down the city. Therefore, I decided it was time to have a snow day, again. This post is not so much about fashion as that happy feeling of SNOW!!!!! I'm sure all my friends hate me, because anytime it snows and I see it, I send out a mass text that says "SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". I can't help my enthusiasm. Snow is a rarity in these parts. I'm sure if I saw it for most of the winter, I'd be tired of it - however, in Alabama, it's something special. People will wake their children up in the middle of the night just to play in the snow. Closing note - my cats hated the snow. They were really sad about it, but they were hilarious at the same time, so it's okay. Oh, and our snowman's name is Stephen Bobby. I love his green mohawk, purple fruit loop eyes, and sprinkle chest hair. Too bad we couldn't find a gold chain for him.

Morning slips to evening, falls through holes in between days

Oh hey ya'll! It has been a crazy weekend. I've been out and about all weekend, and then I woke up this morning to snow! Snow is such a rarity here that I decided to take a snow day for my self... that was completely unauthorized. However, sometimes, you just have to forget about it and do what you want! So I did.

Anyway, here are some outfit shots from earlier in the week. I had a job fair to go to, so I had to dress in "business attire". Therefore, the infamous red and black heels showed up again. They are so comfortable that I never want to wear any other shoes. These pictures were taken on the second floor of UAH's art building. It is a pretty groovy place to be.

In other news, I decided to temporarily hold off on posting our shoot this weekend. I want Heather to have chance to look at all of the pictures we took, and she can give more details about them anyways. But I promise you, they were awesome.

Snow pictures to follow!

Hello my dearies! Just a quick update shot. I wore this outfit on Monday and I was really digging it. Menswear is a big theme for me right now, can you tell? The shoes I grabbed at a thrift store in Troy, AL. I'm usually a snob about thrifted shoes, just because I've taught dance for so long and feel that proper footwear is important (if someone else wears your shoes for an extended period, it can ruin your life. Just saying.) But these shoes were army issue and appeared to be brand new, so I got them. And I love them! Why are men's shoes so comfortable? It's not really that fair. I've decided that I need to invest in a mirror, because trying to get a shot of my complete outfit is hard. These pics were taken in the bathroom at school. Someone walked in and gave me a strange look, and I told them, "Don't worry, you won't see this thing pointed under the stall!" and then I laughed, and they were so creeped out they turned around and left the bathroom. So, probably not a good idea.

Also, I'm really excited for Saturday! I'm shooting Heather's spring collection. Hint: lots of jersey and lots of fun. Be ready for picture overload on Monday-ish. I'm shooting a bunch of beautiful ladies who all happen to be awesome and all happen to be beautiful. It makes my life SO much easier! More pictures to follow. Be excited.

I think I love you. But, it makes me kinda nervous to say so.

I love the name Stoner Park. I really do.I can't wait to go back there this Saturday to shoot my spring collection!

Now, the post title up there is me trying to say: Guys, I think I have a problem. As you must know by now,if you have been reading this blog at all,I.Can't.Get.Enough.of crazy tights/pants/socks. Crazy leg adornments are kind of my thing lately. Can one be addicted to crazy legs? And if so, is that a real problem? I don't know. But if I buy any more of them I'm going to have to start getting new skirts and shorts to go with them...

That pose actually helped me crack my back!

Necklace: handmade by ME.

Shoes: Damita K
Tights: Target(maybe?)

Scarf: thrifted
White Shirt: Target

Skirt: not sure where it's originally from, but a friend gave it to me. It was a straight maxi skirt then, so I upcycled it into this super cute pencil skirt!

Coat: American Eagle. It is sooooo warm and snuggly. I wish we would've gotten more shots of it!

Sorry to post and run, but You KNOW all you really wanna see is the clothes anyways. G'night kiddos!
